
About Martha Dove
With a unique combination of counseling and corporate experience, Martha Dove engages clients in a dialogue that is candid, caring, reassuring and realistic. She offers quiet confidence and new perspectives in a relationship that is completely confidential. For over 25 years, Martha has worked as a counselor, trainer and facilitator specializing in the areas of conflict management, performance improvement and career development. SInce 1989, Martha has managed Martha Dove & Associates Inc, a consulting company providing unique workplace coaching, training and facilitation services.
Throughout her career, Martha has developed strong working relationships with clients and colleagues in all levels of business and industry, government and non-profit organizations. She has demonstrated her skills managing innovative consumer advisory projects in the health care, pharmaceutical, environmental, insurance and telecommunications industries. Over the years, Martha has successfully facilitated focus groups, advisory programs and stakeholder forums on a variety of contentious issues; everything from air quality and mail delivery, to insurance rates and hospital closings. She has extensive volunteer experience on a variety of Boards and committees helping improve community health care and social services. Martha is a volunteer Mentor with Step Ahead; a non-profit organization providing practical learning and support for women business owners.
With a BA Honours from Queens University, a BSW from McGill University, and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto, Martha offers professionals, executives and entrepreneurs - those with established careers and those just setting out - coaching that is practical, convenient and effective. Martha also works as a facilitator in corporate coaching skills training for clients including the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and the BMO Financial Group Institute for Learning.

Since 1995, Martha has worked with the various businesses of GE Canada and with Carl Aspler & Associates Inc., a training company specializing in organization change, teambuilding and leadership development.
